What should I do if my name and year of passing are wrongly typed in the List uploaded in the website.
The website name list with the year of passing is manually typed and uploaded for your reference. Your degree certificate will have the exact same name and year of passing as per your records. Typo if any in the website name list may be discarded as it is only for reference.
I received my degree already from the college/university in person. But i am interested in taking part in the Graduation Day-2023 ceremony, whether it is allowed ?

No. The candidates who have already received the certificates from Pondicherry University/Puducherry Technological University are not eligible to register and participate in the Graduation day - 2023 ceremony.

After completing the registration, How do I know whether my Name is registered for Graduation Day-2023?
The registration team will validate your payment and registration details. Upon successful validation, your name will be uploaded to the list of registered candidates later. The candidates will also get a confirmation email with the Registration ID in due course.
While registration, I registered as In-person candidate. But unfortunately, I am now not in a position to come to the Graduation day. Can I change my registration to Absentia?

Yes, It is possible to change from In-Person to Absentia.
The candidates should email the following to cday@ptuniv.edu.in,
1. Scan copy of the signed Requisition Letter for change of Mode. (Addressed to the Convenor, Graduation Day-2023.)
2. Complete Address with Pin code to which the Degree has to be sent.
3. Scan a copy of the Provisional Certificate.
4. Scan a Copy of Proof of Address (Voter ID/ Aadhar Card / Driving Licence).
5. Payment Confirmation Reference Number.
While registration, I registered as Absentia candidate. But now I want to attend the Graduation day. Can I change my registration to In-Person?
While registration, I registered as Absentia candidate. But now I want to attend the Graduation day. Can I change my registration to In-Person?
Yes, It is possible to change from Absentia to In-Person, provided the request is made before the last date for registration.
The candidates should email the following to cday@ptuniv.edu.in,
1. Scan copy of the signed Requisition Letter for change of Mode. (Addressed to the Convenor, Graduation Day-2023.)
2. Payment Confirmation Reference Number / DD Number.
Important Note: Change of mode should be completed before the last date of registration. Any request beyond the late date will not be fulfilled.

Yes. The candidates should come in Person, to collect the degree certificate [After the Graduation-2023 Ceremony]
Certificates will not be given before the Graduation day ceremony.
Certificates will not be given to anyone other than the candidates concerned.
Such candidates can collect the degree from the Exam Wing, Puducherry Technological University by submitting the application form with the necessary enclosures listed below.
1. Completed Application form with the following attachment
2. Copy of Provisional Certificate
3. Copy of Proof of Address & ID (Voter ID/ Aadhar Card / Driving Licence)
4. Payment of registration fees ( Rs.1500/-) should be made through this site ( CDayPTU.com)
Please write your Name, Register number, Department, and Mobile number on the reverse side of the DD before submitting.

Strictly No. Degree Certificates will not be given to anyone other than the graduand concerned under any circumstances.
